Wanda James. Wanda James, 55 of Llano Texas, passed away on October 8, She was born on April 21st, to Ernest and Joan Oestreich.
She worked at the Llano Junior High for 20 years. She had a love of country music, and enjoyed singing to her grandchildren often. She had a great love for her family and was never too far from them. She was proceeded in death by her father Ernest, mother Joan, and brothers Gary and Tommy. There will be a viewing on Sunday from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral services will be held at Waldrop-Hatfield-Hawthorne funeral home on Monday October 14th, at 10 am. She will be buried at Llano Cemetery. People have expressed interest in bringing food to the family, we will be meeting after the funeral First Baptist church to sit together and enjoy a meal so all food is welcome to be brought there.

As a young child, he spoke only German. He served in Korea and Okinawa in the 7 th Division Artillery as a sergeant. After the war, he attended Texas Tech University and then took over the family farm in Nazareth.
He served on the Nazareth School Board for 12 years, two as President. George was a charter member of the Nazareth American Legion. After suffering a stroke in , he and Rita retired to Lake Buchanan, Texas. He also enjoyed fishing and playing golf. At Lake Buchanan, he planted a tree pecan orchard and regularly raised a vegetable garden.
