I immediately called up and the person said for some reason the order wasn't put through and was cancelled. But I emphasised to them I had an email confirming this, he assured me I had nothing to worry about. I called up to get this picked up the next day for the driver to not turn up at all and I took a whole day off work with no phone call.
So I then called up again and the item is now being picked up fingers crossed tomorrow after not being collected on the 1st day they told me they would. So I have taken another day off work to make sure it is collected. Not good at all and I truly believe an apology is not good enough nowadays especially when you have to take time off work and are given a time slot of 8am till 8pm.
