A deed is a legal document. Changing a name or taking a member off your deed requires a legal document to be recorded.
Legal documents such as warranty deeds, quit claim deeds, etc. The Register of Deeds office does not advise how these documents should be completed. We recommend consulting an attorney for any change to your deed.
