Of course the people who host online gaming servers will never admit that they have either under powered servers or are not buying enough bandwidth to handle all the gamers hitting them. Try searching the other Cable forums for similar issues.

I'm pretty sure I've seen similar topics in the Comcast forum and elsewhere. This isn't going to help you any but might be an explantion. But the trick is - every path through ATT Atlanta is not through he same routers. Example: yahoo and google go thought different routers in Atlanta and someimes one or the other Att router may have problems or be down completely.
Sometimes I may see latency over 60 to 90ms on the ATT router that leads to Yahoo but only in the 20's to 50's on the one to google. If that's the case you can tell by the trace route to your game sites and see if the IP changes in the same city someplace from your post I'd bet ATT in Atlanta. That may or may not be the explanation and getting someone at Charter to get ATT or if it turns out to be qwest to look into it will probably be impossible.
There was a tech here that did do that a time or two in the past. RWill join Rochester, MN. To be honest with you, There is not really anything Charter can do for you. The internet is not owned by us.. If everything else is working, then its an issue with the server you are trying to reach OR the link to the server I know we all wish that you could get someone to fiz that, but there is no fix for something that is NOT on the charter network, if anything you should contact WoW support and see if they are having latency or line issues.
Thanks for the feedback guys. The latency that affects game play starts low, around ms which is fine, but then over the next 10min or so it will slowly creep up to around ms.

It will usually linger here for about another min and during this time it freezes up a lot and there is a delay on anything i try to do. Eventually it will just disconnect me from the game. The i log back on and repeat.
Getting all worked up over IP tracing
I was afraid that this isn't Charter's problem. Now i'm unsure that if i switch to DSL if it will even fix the problem. I think i might have to tether my phone to my computer and play over the 3G network to get a hopefully decent connection for wow. What get me though, is i've had charter for almost 2yrs now and not had any problems. What could they have changed to make such a difference?

This set is really good. Like all the other Overwatch sets I've gotten so far, I got this for the people. They did not disappoint. Minifigs: Tracer: The printing is amazing on this. Her guns are surprisingly sleek and she had a double sided face with one smiling and one smirking.
Her lightning backpack thing also fits with the character surprisingly well. I also love the new hair piece. Widowmaker: This character is definitely my favorite from the set. Like Tracer, the printing is stunning. She also has two faces, one with a determined expression, and another with an aiming expression. Nice user interface. Connection speed is really fast.
