Nye Lane. SBC directories are produced with paper containing recycled content. On the cover is a group photo of the Carson City Fire Department. The salute honors firefighters who fought the Carson City wildfires in July. A smaller, more portable version of the directory is also available. Some small local businesses may not have a website, but still be listed in the phone book. Some people in the household just may not feel comfortable using technology and would prefer a paper version.
This information is most likely readily available on the Internet, and the amount of times it is not doesn't make it worth the hassle to keep one.
These books are often large and unwieldy, and take up a lot of space especially compared to the benefit they provide. If you decide you don't want one in the future, do yourself, the environment and the Yellow Book publishers a favor and tell them using the information below and opt out of receiving more of them!
Keep only the newest ones if you're going to keep any at all.

There is no reason they should just be thrown in the trash. Tips For Recycling If you've got curbside recycling most likely you can just toss the entire book into the recycling bin and, boom, you're done. Even if you don't have curbside recycling it is not hard to recycle these directories. Often if you look at either the front or back of the book itself it will provide you with the information necessary to know how and where to recycle them.
You can add your schedule to Google, iCal or Outlook, or you can print it. You can also sign up for text, email or phone call reminders and alerts.
Your collection day slides to one day later if it falls on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day or if it falls after these days in the same week. Use My Schedule to see your holiday slide schedules.
